1. Allow installation of apps from unknown sources
In order to install apps from outside the Google Play Store, you need to allow "Unknown sources".
Step 1: Open your phone's Settings.
Step 2: Go to Security or Privacy (this may also be under Biometrics and security or Advanced settings depending on the phone brand).
Step 3: Find the option that says Install unknown apps or Unknown sources.
Step 4: Find the browser (e.g. Chrome or any other browser you use to download the APK file) and tap on it.
Step 5: Enable the setting that says Allow from this source.
2. Download the APK file
After allowing the installation of apps from unknown sources, you can download the APK file.
Step 1: Open the browser on your phone.
Step 2: Go to the site where you want to download the APK file.
Step 3: Tap the Download button to download the APK file.
You may receive a warning that the file may be malicious; tap OK to continue.
3. Install APK
Once the APK file is downloaded, you can install it.
Step 1: Open the Downloads app (or go to the Downloads section of your browser).
Step 2: Find the downloaded APK file and tap on it.
Step 3: A pop-up will ask for confirmation. Tap Install.
Step 4: Wait for the app to install. When the installation is complete, tap Open to use the app or Done to close the installer.
