This guide walks you through how to fill a tool in Impact.
The filling of a tool can be started directly from the home page, if the user has favorite tools selected, or from the Tools tab.

Filling the tool from the Impact home page
The following instructions will help you to fill in the tool, by starting from the Impact home page.
- Click on the tool you want to use from the favorite tools list.
- From the drop-down menu that opens, select the item you want to populate the tool with.
- Fill the tool that opens. At least the mandatory fields need to be filled in in to complete the tool. You can identify the mandatory fields by the * symbol.
- When you have completed the minimum mandatory fields and the information you think is required, click on the top right corner to complete the tool.
Filling in the tool from the Tools page
The following instructions help you to fill a tool, starting from the Tools page of Impact.
- In Select Tool, select the tool you want to fill.
- In the Select Item field that appears below, select the level you want to fill the tool with.
- Fill the tool that opens. At least the mandatory fields need to be filled in in to complete the tool. You can identify the mandatory fields by the * symbol.
- When you have completed the minimum mandatory fields and the information you think is required, click on the top right corner to complete the tool.
In addition to these, you can start filling a tool via a link, where the link settings require you to select the tool and the level or just the level to start filling. In basic terms, the filling process works in the same way as in other cases.
Saving the tool as incomplete and updatable checklists
On the Tools page, under the tool menu, you will find user-specific unfinished, organization-wide updatable and archived checklists.
