Processing and Responsibility Assignment

This guide explains the task processing and review stages.

For form-based tools, you can create a flexible responsibility and review process by combining different options. For instance, in a safety observation process, the reporter's supervisor can handle the initial processing, which then goes for review by a selected user.

These tools provide the flexibility to build processes tailored to your company’s needs. Ensure that the related Impact features are properly configured before use.

Processing and assignment

This setting determines who is responsible for the task generated from the tool completion and its processing. The assigned user will receive a notification based on their notification settings and can access the processing fields defined in the tool template.

If the review phase is not enabled, the processor can mark the task as completed at the end of the processing stage. For more details on task processing, see this guide.

Verification Phase

If the review phase is enabled, the processor cannot close the task upon completion but can only forward it for review.

When a task is in the verification phase, it becomes locked for the processor, and only the user responsible for the verification can make changes. Once everything is verified, the reviewer can mark the task as complete. If any information is missing, they can return it to the processor for editing.

Only adminis can modify processing fields after verification.
